What a Happy Christmas Surprise!

11:43 AM
A week truly can make all the difference.

This time last week, we were still anxiously awaiting our immigration approval, knowing that it could take up to 6 more weeks to obtain.  Today, not only do we have our approval, but an embassy appointment as well!!!  This is great news and one of the very last hurdles to overcome to bring our little girl home.

Please be in prayer, the first date, January 26, is the appointment to drop off all the documents.  January 30 is the big appointment in which they will actually meet our little girl and the liaison that will be bringing her to us.

What happens next??

After the appointments, the US embassy will investigate the entire process.  A few weeks later, we should receive her Visa and be able to take her home!!!  This puts the timetable of getting her home most likely between the first week of March to the first week of April. (Here's hoping for MARCH!)

For visual learners... here's a chart of everything that's left...

1.  Document submission.  January 26.

2.  Interview.  January 30.

3.  Investigation.  2-5 weeks.

4.  Visa issued (at conclusion of the investigation.)

5.  Bring her home!  (Flights scheduled a couple of weeks after the Visa is issued.)
